The company was established in 1971 manufacturing fashion leathers, to date we actually stock some 80 different style with some of the most popular listed here on our website. We have built a reputation by giving only the best possible service, before and after sales. Along with very high quality at very reasonable prices. We also carry out repairs and alterations.

The company name is Malec Leathers, taken from the two partner's names Malc & Alec both Coventry kids who like to work directly with the public. Our trading name "Leatherscene" , and we are one of the longest established leather companies in the UK.

We are a direct mail order company but if you wish you are welcome to visit our factory showroom (click here for maps) in Coventry. You will be made very welcome with old fashion courtesy whilst you browse through the very latest extensive range of styles. We have now become a major force in the design and production around the world of leather clothing. All skins used by us are individually selected to give the best results in looks, feel and shape retention, in the particular garment for which they were chosen. Types of skins used vary from, Domestic sheep Nappa, Italian Nappa, Calf, South American softside, Sheep suede, Pig suede and Nubuck.

On many of our garments we are able to offer an extremely comprehensive size range from stock for example our fabulous ladies 'one piece' front fashion jean is stocked with various waist and hip measurements (e.g. size 10 waist with 12 hip in any leg length) eliminating the gap at the back of the waist that women have to put up with from a standard fit jean when they have slightly larger hips. If we fail to supply from stock then it would be made as required at no extra charge. This is why it is important that you take great care in giving us all the information we request when ordering as it is our endeavour to make you a fully satisfied customer the first time of ordering. However, if any thing is wrong you may return the garment within 7 days for exchange or 4 days for a refund unless exchange is not possible.

All goods sent out by us in the UK are sent next day delivery and are signed for upon receipt.
